Our cruise itineraries and schedules
Re-live the same boat journey as Jerome K Jerome in his book ‘3 men In A Boat’ and cruise from Caversham to Pangbourne where their famous journey ended at The swan Inn. Pangbourne is also famous as the home of Kenneth Grahame, author of The Wind in the Willows. You will also pass Mapledurham House, dating from 1588 and thought to be the model for Toad Hall. Alternatively, how about a leisurely cruise from Sonning to Henley-On-Thames? Experience cruising down the famous regatta course and see the famous Folly.
We are based in Caversham, Reading and our River Thames cruises take you to some of the most picturesque parts of the River Thames. Whether you are enjoying an afternoon boat trip on the River Thames or experiencing more of the Thames on a boating holiday, there is something for everyone. Our cruises start and end at Caversham or Sonning. See the itineraries below to find one that suits you.

Full Day Cruise Itineraries
Itinerary A
Sonning to Historic Henley return Boat Cruise
09.30am Welcome drinks. Depart Sonning, cruise through Sonning and Shiplake. Pass through Shiplake Lock & Marsh lock. Tea / coffee is served.
12.00pm Moor in Henley for half an hour break.
12.30pm Delicious buffet lunch is served while sailing down Regatta Race course to the Folly. Drinks are available from our fully licensed bar.
02.00pm Afternoon cream tea is served while cruising back to Caversham, Reading.
2.30pm Arrive back at Caversham.
Itinerary B
Caversham to Pangbourne return Boat Cruise
09.30am Welcome drinks. Depart Caversham, sail to Mapledurham and go through Mapledurham lock. Morning coffee is served.
12.30pm Moor up near Pangbourne for a 30 minute break. Time for a walk or just to sit on deck enjoying peace & tranquillity of the countryside.
1.00pm Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while cruising to Mapledurham. Drinks are available from our fully licensed bar.
2.00pm Afternoon cream tea is served on the bow deck while cruising back to Caversham
2.30pm Arrive back at Caversham.

Itinerary C
Sonning to Wargrave (Henley) return cruise
Departure times: 09.30 / 12.30 / 18.30hrs Cruises are 2 – 2 ½ hours (depending on locks)
~Welcome drinks. Depart Sonning, sail to Shiplake pass through Shiplake Lock. Cruise to Wargrave. Tea / coffee is served.
~Enjoy either: Morning breakfast croissants & pastries / Afternoon cream tea with scones / Evening light finger buffet. Licensed bar on board. ~Arrive back at Sonning.
Itinerary D
Caversham to Mapledurham return cruise
Departure times: 09.30 / 12.30 / 18.30hrs Cruises are 2 – 2 ½ hours. Licensed bar on board
~Welcome drinks. Depart Caversham for a delightful cruise heading upstream to Mapledurham Lock. Tea / coffee is served.
~Enjoy either: Morning croissants & pastries / Afternoon cream tea with scones / Evening light finger buffet. Drinks are available from our licensed bar.
~Arrive back at Caversham.

Our holidays operate as:
3 night weekend break: (Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights - check out Monday am)
4 night Mid-week break: (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights – checkout Friday am)
7 night break: (Monday, 7 nights, checkout following Monday am) or (Friday, 7 nights checkout following Friday am)
Check in time: 14.30hrs Checkout time: Our return cruise back to Caversham will be at 08.00hrs on scheduled day of departure (Monday or Friday) arriving back at 11.00am.

Single destination package
Arrival day: Check-in 14.30hrs Cruise to your destination arrive approx 18.00hrs (our single destinations are listed above in uppercase bold) Stay moored at your destination for the duration of your holiday. Departure day: 08.00hrs return cruise to Caversham. Checkout 11.00hrs.
Multi –destination package
Arrival day: Check-in 14.30hrs Cruise to your 1st destination arrive approx 18.00hrs. During your holiday we will cruise you to the next destination (s) in the order listed above. This must be pre-booked so our skipper can meet you at the boat. All multi –destination cruise packages return back to Caversham. Please note: Maidenhead, Windsor, Wallingford destinations can only be done as a week's holiday due to length of cruising time to get there and back
Booking conditions:
Please note our holiday change-over days and cruising days are on Mondays & Fridays (with the exception of pre-booked cruises on multi-destination package holidays.
It is possible to check out a day early but guests who checkout early will have to make their own way back to Caversham. The prices are based on the full number of nights of the holiday break as shown. There is no reduction in price for staying for fewer nights than the allocated number of nights. It is possible to board / disembark the boat at the destination (for example, if you are unable to arrive on Friday afternoon) In this event please let us know. There is no reduction in price for any missed cruise(s) and myrivercruising are not able to offer a cruise in lieu.
