Henley Royal Regatta River Cruises and Royal Ascot

The summer is here, come rain or shine and the Henley Royal Regatta is nearly upon us. Last year boat Geanna hosted a hen party and the girls had a great time enjoying the atmosphere of the Henley Regatta.

This year we are promoting are cream teas and Boat Geanna and boat Gina are fully booked over the Henley regatta weekend. This year Boat Geanna is hosting rowing teams and we have already had several rowers from around the world stay on boat Geanna. We have been liaising with The Henley Rowing Association HRA and we hope in the future to have visiting HRA teams stay on Boat Geanna on the River Thames.

We have had several international guests stay on boat Geanna so far this year and we welcome our current guests from Canada. On boat Gina we have had guests from both Japan and Norway stay and next week we look forward to welcoming guests from China. All our guests have taken loads of photos of the River Thames during their River Thames boat cruise which we include as part of our holidays.

Ascot races this year has been a popular venue with our guests who have spent the weekend at the races, also attended by Her Majesty the Queen. Our daughter is working at Ascot and has been promoted to the Royal Box at Ascot in her role as security officer. We’re very proud of her.

The summer weather has been again temperamental but we are pleased to say that we have managed to dodge the rain and chase blue skies! Our cream tea cruises have been popular this year with hen parties and 60th birthday parties and 70th birthday party ideas. We have met so many interesting people and enjoyed hearing their life experiences.
