Enjoy boat tuition on a narrowboat or widebeam boat in a relaxed atmosphere with a professional experienced RYA instructor.
With a maximum of 3 students in a course, this is like private boat tuition where you have ample opportunities to have a go and practice your newly acquired skills.
You are welcome to book a single place and join others on a course, or if there are 2 or 3 in your group, you can book a course together and save money on our group booking price. If you’d like sole use of the boat and stay overnight onboard, please click on the 3 person selection and select the Accommodation extra option if you’d like to stay overnight.

First Aid Courses
Duration 1 day. Maximum number of attendees : 12
In a medical emergency a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations. This 1 day course is designed to provide a working knowledge of first aid for people using small water craft and to support skippers.
You are welcome to book a single place or if there are 2 or more in your group, you can book a course together and save money on the group booking price.

RYA Powerboating Level 1 & 2 Course
RYA Powerboating Courses in Berkshire & Oxfordshire
This is a 2 day course. Minimum age 12 years
- This course is for anyone wishing to drive mainly small, open sports type boats whether for pleasure or with another activity such as sailing
- The types of commercial craft requiring this level certification are typically: charter fishing boats, small passenger launches, thrill ride operators, harbour patrol launches, construction site safety boats etc.
- Course includes launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat
- The course has a maximum ration of 3 students to 1 instructor
- Book an individual place, 2 places or 3 places. Discounted rates for 2 and 3 people booking together
- Save 10% on the course price if booked with a boating holiday or with another course*
