Accommodation

Cabin:

Two cabins. The forward cabin has a permanent king size bed. The en-suite mid cabin offers a king sized bed and a single bunk bed, ideal for a family party or couples. Both cabins have TVs and DVD in the middle cabin

Bed Linen:

All bed linen and towels are included

Saloon:

There are two sofa-beds in the saloon, which can both be converted at night to make-up double beds if required. The saloon also has a TV, DVD and CD entertainment systems for your pleasure.

BathRoom:

One bathroom with a shower, flush toilet and wash basin. There is also an en-suite toilet and wash basin for the mid cabin.

Galley:

The galley has a full-size fridge, hob and oven/grill and microwave oven. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc. for 8 guests.

Highlights:

Georgia is a luxury brand new wide beam boat with a modern and fresh feel, whilst still retaining the quaint charm of an English canal boat. There is ample space on the front deck allowing you to sit outside and enjoy the stunning scenery while on your boating holiday on River Thames. For your entertainment, there is unlimited WiFi , a smart screen TV in the living room and in each cabin is TV with Amazon Firestick. There are also 240v plug sockets throughout the boat. Central heating and a fuel burner stove keep the boat cosy and warm in the cooler months.

The River Thames provides easy navigation and is ideal for both first time boaters and experienced boaters alike. Routes and timings are provided for you so that you are aware of journey times and mooring places. The cruise along the Thames offers stunning English countryside with some popular mooring spots such as Henley-On-Thames and Historic Royal Windsor. For the more serious boaters, we can also offer the RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman course which can be added as an optional extra to your holiday.

Pricing Guide.

Prices are inclusive of VAT and are for a self drive holiday. The prices include boat insurance, diesel and VAT. Dogs are welcome (max 2 dogs) at £25.00 per dog.. A non-refundable deposit payment of £300 is required to reserve your dates and the balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday start date. There is a locked secure car park on site. This must be booked in advance and is £6 per car per night. Fuel burner packs (logs / coal etc) can also be purchased at booking.

Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Your hire begins at 3.30pm. Check in is at 3.00pm at our office in Selway House Unit 3, Paddock Road, Caversham. After check in, you unload your car at Betterboating, Caversham, Reading for a prompt departure. Please return the boat by 10.00am on the last day of hire. 1 to 2 hour’s tuition is given depending on experience, including going through a lock with an RYA instructor. You will be asked to watch 3 short videos as part of the handover process. Please supply your route plans in case you require assistance. A non-refundable booking deposit of £300 is required to secure a booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the holiday. We advise that you should arrange your own cancellation cover as this is not included in the holiday price. In case of damage or losses to the boat or it’s equipment, fixtures and fittings, we will need to authenticate a credit or debit card prior to your boat hire. No monies will be authorised to be taken provided the boat is returned with no breakages or losses .
